Frequently Asked Questions

Perhaps the answer to your question is here.

PASPort is a secure web portal that connects current and prospective students, faculty, and staff to their personal data, school records, and other important information.
PASPort allows you to access all of your information in one place without having to visit multiple web pages or remembering different sign-in accounts.
We provide accounts to all prospective students, current students, alumni, and employees. All students receive an account from the Enrollment and Registration Services Center (ERS), and all employees receive an account from the Human Resources Office.
Every user in PASPort has access to a student e-mail account powered by Gmail. Your e-mail address is made up of your username and @students.laredo.edu. For example, if your username is jdoe1234, your e-mail address is jdoe1234@students.laredo.edu.
Inside PASPort, you have access to personal information, like your home address, phone numbers, and emergency contacts. There is financial information, as well, like your tax forms, bank information for direct deposits, pay stubs, and more. If you're a student or instructor, you also have access to submit assignments, enter grades, or grab transcripts. For this, and more reasons, we ask our users to create strong passwords and never share their log in credentials.
There are multiple ways to retrieve your password. You can attempt retrieving it by clicking on the "Forgot password?" link below the login box, or by calling or submitting a ticket to the PASPort Help Desk.
Your username is composed of the first letter of your first name, your last name, and 4 random digits (i.e., jdoe1234). If you do not have your username, you may retrieve it by trying the "Forgot username? link below the login box, or by calling or submitting a ticket to the PASPort Help Desk, as long as you know your Palomino ID (PID). If you do not have your PID, you will need to contact the ERS Center at 956-721-5109, if you're a student, or the Human Resources Office at 956-721-5451, if you're an employee.
Your account will become disabled or locked in case of inactivity or after too many failed login attempts. To login, you will have to contact the PASPort Help Desk.
